Virginia Ngai, LICSW, MDiv, is the elder justice advocate at the Center for the Prevention of Elder Abuse and Neglect at Hebrew SeniorLife. She has her BA in law and society as well as a master's degree in social work and divinity. She worked for many years as a resident services coordinator with seniors and those under 60 with disabilities in affordable HUD housing. She has a certificate in cognitive behavioral therapy from the Boston University School of Social Work Professional Educational Program and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCPT-II). She is passionate about helping those who are being affected by abuse, neglect, and exploitation to receive advocacy, counseling, and support, as well as to educate and bring awareness to the community for elder abuse prevention.
