NewBridge on the Charles offers the Gilda and Alfred A. Slifka Memory Care Assisted Living Residences to seniors with memory loss from dementia and Alzheimer’s who would benefit from memory care in a social, residential setting. Our memory care assisted living community is designed to address the needs of those with early- and mid-stage Alzheimer’s and/or a related dementia. Residents move to our memory care residences directly from their private homes as well as from other residences on the NewBridge campus.
Each resident benefits from the close attention of our management team and staff. Prior to a new resident joining our community, we learn from families about each individual in detail—their history, talents, preferences, and goals. We then work collaboratively and continually from that point forward to ensure an enriching and meaningful memory care assisted living experience. Drawing upon the social, intellectual, and environmental variety that our larger campus affords, participants benefit from the structure of our therapeutic memory care assisted living program while also accessing the additional educational and social opportunities in assisted living that matter most to them.
